BOOKING GUARANTEE DEPOSIT
To secure the booking, a deposit equal to 50% of the total balance is required. The remaining balance must be settled prior to the check-in date.
RESERVATIONS
If we do not receive proof of payment from you within 2 days of the reservation, as stated in the reservation quote, we retain the right to cancel your reservation. At that point, we may or may not inform you of the cancellation. Reservations made on the day of arrival without a guarantee deposit will be held for a maximum of 3 hours before being released.
CANCELLATIONS
Please note that cancellations for confirmed bookings can only be made in writing via email to Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse.
Cancellation of confirmed bookings will attract the following penalties:
• Cancellations within 24 hours or on check-in date will forfeit 100% of the full balance;
• Cancellations within 2 to 7 days prior to check-in date will forfeit 50% of the full balance;
• Cancellations in excess of 8 days prior to check-in date will forfeit 25% of the full balance.
STAND-BY RESERVATIONS
Stand-by reservations are subject to the availability of pre-existing reservations made by other customers. If the original reservation is unsuccessful, the first stand-by reservation candidate will be considered as the next reservation and will be contacted accordingly. However, the outcome will not be communicated to the other stand-by reservation candidates who were unsuccessful. Please note that we can only accept a maximum of 3 stand-by reservations.
NO-SHOW
A "no-show" refers to the situation where a guest fails to arrive at the Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse without providing prior written notification via email or phone. This also includes all arrivals after check-in closure (refer to CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT). In the event of a no-show, the guest will be liable for the forfeiture of 100% of the full balance or any other deposit that has been paid.
PAYMENT METHODS
We offer multiple payment options for your convenience. You can settle the payment by cash, credit or debit cards, virtual eNett/Master Cards, directly on the Kgarebana Website, or through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) if arranged with Kgarebana admin. Please note that we do not accept payment by cheques (handwritten) or ATM deposits.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
The standard check-in time is between 14:00-21:00, and check-out time is 11:00, unless a prior arrangement has been made. We will try to contact you 24-48 hours before your arrival to confirm your reservation and discuss your expected arrival time. Early check-ins require advance arrangements. Please be aware that our guesthouse does not have a 24-hour reception desk. Therefore, kindly note that the check-in CLOSES at 21:00. As a result, guests arriving after 21:00 will NOT be allowed to check in, and their booking will be considered a NO SHOW. If you plan to extend your stay, please inform us before 08:00 on the check-out day, and it will depend on room availability. Checking out before 11:00 does not qualify for any discounts on the outstanding balance, and the full outstanding balance must be paid.
ROOM SERVICE
Guests are provided with the flexibility to enjoy breakfast and/or dinner either on the verandas/patios or in the guestrooms without any additional charges. We kindly request that you inform us in advance if you would like to avail yourself of this option or if you prefer to have your meal in the dining area.
BREAKFAST
Our breakfast service is available from 06:00 am to 10:00. Additionally, we offer the convenience of room service for breakfast (please refer to the ROOM SERVICE information for further details).
DINNER
Advance arrangements are necessary for dinner service. Dinner will be served between 18:30 and 21:00. Additionally, we offer the convenience of room service for dinner (please refer to the ROOM SERVICE information for further details).
ADMISSION
To book a room at the Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse, you must be at least twenty-one (21) years old. Please note that during check-in, you may be required to present a valid identity document or passport. Additionally, the Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse retains the right to deny admission to any individual at any time and for any reason. The Guesthouse is not obligated to disclose the reasons for refusal to the customer at that time.
ROOM OCCUPANCY
The occupancy of each room is limited to a maximum of two registered guests.
CHILDREN
We regret we cannot accommodate children under the age of 18 years.
PETS
With exception for guide dogs that assist the visually impaired, we regret we cannot accommodate pets.
DAMAGE / THEFT / BEHAVIOR
The Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior. Any behavior that disrupts the comfort of other guests or poses a threat or intimidation towards fellow guests or employees will not be tolerated. Individuals who negligently or intentionally cause damage to the facilities, including theft of items such as electronic equipment, towels, bathrobes, paintings, or decorative ornaments, will be held liable for the damages incurred by Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse. This includes the loss of revenue resulting from the unavailability of rooms during the repair process. Please note that any damage to linen or towels caused by body oils, makeup, shoe polish, gun oil, dyes, or similar substances will incur charges for special cleaning, repair, or replacement of the affected item.
SMOKING
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, the Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse maintains a strict non-smoking policy throughout its premises. We are a non-smoking facility, and smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. However, designated smoking areas are available at the verandas/patios where ashtrays are provided. We kindly ask our guests to adhere to this policy and smoke only in the designated areas.
KEYS
Upon check-in, you will receive a remote control to operate the main access gate, as well as keys for your room. The keys provided include one for the room door and another for the security barrier. It is important to ensure that the main access gate is properly closed after entering or leaving the premises for security purposes. When checking out, please remember to return the remote control, keys, and key holder to the reception or place the keys in the drop box by the gate before your departure. You are responsible for the safekeeping of these items during your stay, and any loss or damage incurred will be your liability.
RISK
At Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse, we prioritize the safety and security of our guests, their vehicles, and personal belongings. We take great care and implement safety measures to ensure a secure environment. However, Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse cannot assume any responsibility or be held liable for any theft, loss, or damage to guests' belongings brought onto the premises. Additionally, Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or death of guests. It is the sole responsibility of the guests to ensure the security of their rooms by properly locking them (please refer to the KEYS information) and to safeguard valuable items by utilizing the safe provided in the room when they are away. We encourage guests to exercise caution and take necessary precautions to protect their belongings during their stay.
PRIVACY
Your privacy is highly valued and respected at Kgarebana Boutique Guesthouse. We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of any personal information you provide us. We do not share, rent, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third party without your explicit permission, except in cases where it is required by law, court order, or other legal processes necessary to protect public safety. Rest assured that any information you provide us is treated with the utmost care and security. We ensure that your personal information is used only in accordance with your consent and for the purposes you have specified. Your privacy is our priority, and we take every measure to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.
